Animal Medical Clinic on Georgia
AMC on Georgia is the sister clinic to Animal Medical Hospital in West Vancouver. For the moment it is an outpatient clinic where we are equipped to deal with all of the medical problems and preventive medicine for your dogs and cats.
Opening in November 2009, AMC's convenient location allows downtown residents an easily accessible veterinary clinic. We are able to share resources between the hospital and clinic, giving downtown clients access to all of the services they could need. If transportation is needed between the hospital and clinic, this will be arranged by our staff.
The veterinarian in charge of AMC Georgia is Dr Cathy Wilkie. Dr Jill Meacher will also be at the clinic starting in June 2011. Dr Meacher has come to us from a large, very busy practice on Vancouver Island, and has excellent veterinary skills in addition to being a very nice person.
Procedures requiring anesthesia are performed at the main hospital. Unless otherwise arranged, the veterinarian and staff from AMC Georgia will travel to the main hospital and will be the people caring for your pet there. This allows excellent continuity of care, and you can be sure that your pet will be cared for by those most familiar with him or her.
